CANNES YOUNG LIONS: SAFE PASSAGE REFUGEE CHARITY

As the official UK representative for Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Guardian News and Media holds a national competition giving the UK’s up-and-coming creative and media professionals the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Young Lions competition in Cannes in June. 

Within 24 hours you are given your information and the clock starts - to ideate, develop and submit your ideas. The brief was to help Safe Passage increase public support for children to have access to safe routes out of war zones, into other countries, taking the Refugees Welcome movement to the next level. Ultimately, as a result of this campaign, the public should make a donation or sign up to campaign with Safe Passage. The final deliverables were a call to action on social media, which encourages people to sign up to become part of the Safe Passage movement.
